Cancer Charity gets Good News

Marine Jobboard sponsors Sail 4 Cancer - a charity-based organisation that aims to improve the quality of life for individuals and their families who have been affected by cancer.

Sail 4 Cancer offers cancer sufferers and their families a variety of sailing experiences.  It provides an opportunity to switch off from the realities of everyday life, and a welcome distraction from the trauma of illness or bereavement.  Patients and their family who have spent time together on a Sail 4 Cancer holiday or sailing day find themselves reassured that there is life to be enjoyed away from hospital visits and illness. It helps them find the strength to carry on and the confidence to rebuild.

Many of the charity’s sponsors are from the marine world.  Jamie Ashman, Managing Director of Marine Jobboard, is happy to announce his company’s support for this innovative and worthwhile charity.
